These Arabica coffee trees have been carefully nurtured in our nursery for approximately four years, with some already producing their first berries. Currently standing at around 50 cm tall, they can eventually reach an impressive 2 metres once planted out. Coffee trees typically reach full maturity at around five years of age, after which they begin producing annually.
If you live in a frost-prone area, you can still enjoy growing your own coffee tree. Simply plant it in a large container, which allows you to move it as needed. During warmer months it can thrive on a patio or veranda, while in colder weather it can be moved indoors or to a protected spot to avoid frost damage. Please note however that coffee will not bear profusely if kept in a pot.
